Hello! How’s it going? I made just quick check list why to try out bodyweight training. These are mainly reasons that have inspired me to do bodyweight training so I thought to share them with you guys and maybe they’ll inspire someone else as well. Enjoy!
1. NO GYM NO PROBLEM
Bodyweight training can be performed anywhere. You can do it from the comfort of your own home or go outside and have a little street workout. If you’re traveling no problem just train at your hotel room.
2. TIME SAVER
As most of us have many other priorities in life in addition to training bodyweight training can be a very appealing option as it usually saves a lot of time. You can train home or just go outside and train somewhat close to your house.
3. BODYWEIGHT TRAINING IS FOR FREE
No gym memberships, fees or expensive gear just your own body in the most simple form. You can see money to something else that you like to do. Of course you can attend a bodyweight training course where experienced bodyweight trainers show you the right technique and teach you useful exercise if you wanted to and perhaps it would be advisable to do so. You can start bodyweight training also just by yourself by performing easy variations of the exercises at home etc.
4. BODYWEIGHT TRAINING IS INTERESTING
Big variety of different exercises that can be modified to various levels of fitness. Every training session can be different if you wanted to. If you get bored easily try bodyweight training. Bodyweight training can also be quite challenging so therefore it keeps you interested as you want to ace those difficult drills.
5. IT’S EASY TO COMBINE TO OTHER FORMS OF TRAINING
Think of a HIIT exercise that you can do with your own bodyweight or during a jog just stop for a few minutes and do some pushups or squats. Weight training can be spiced up with bodyweight drills to make things a bit more interesting.
6. STRONG CORE
Many bodyweight exercises demand a strong core and also develop strength to the core muscles so why not, I wouldn’t mind to have a toned and strong core musculature. Many of us have job that requires a lot of sitting and for safe ergonomic sitting posture strong core is essential. Not to mention professions that have a more physical job description.
So those we’re my six reasons to try out bodyweight training. Hope you got some inspiration and motivation! And now let’s go do that workout whether it’s in the gym, park your home the main thing is just to remember to move your body!
